We encourage you to take advantage of free time on Saturday before the ceremony and reception to explore Silver Lake and the nearby Carson Pass area!
There are lots of fun things to do at Kit Carson Lodge: sunbathe at the lake, go swimming and fishing, rent canoes or paddle boards, or take a hike on Eli's very favorite place, the Tahoe Rim Trail, just a short drive from the Lodge.
The Lodge is right on the shore of Silver Lake, where you can sunbathe, swim, fish, or rent canoes and paddle boards. Check out their website for more details and other activity options.
There are lots of excellent hikes of varying difficulties in the surrounding area, featuring native wildflowers, beautiful views, and some swimming holes!
